Hot dry weather is causing a sudden rush for pool covers in the Cape

Suddenly the winter rains dried up, storms moved off and the heat set in. Capetonians are in a mad scurry to get their orders in amid recent scorching temperatures and hot dry conditions. With no rain in sight, pool covers are set to continue to be a must if you want to keep water in your pool and swim this summer. Water restrictions although have been slightly relaxed recently from Level 6B to Level 5 from October 1, they are still in place and at this rate will probably not be changed if this weather pattern continues.

Cape Town Dam levels have decreased so the water level is currently dropping with Cape Town dam levels at 75.6% on Monday this week.

Here is an image of another pool cover completed today. The phone is ringing off the hook. Get your orders in, stocks are running low and lead times for deliveries are increasing.
